Take a guided walk through London’s History, through the beautiful grounds of this centuries old cemetery. The origins can be traced to the small churchyard burial at St. Paul’s Cathedral, and after several removals to other locations, operations opened at the present location on Springbank Drive, with the first burial taking place at Woodland in 1879. An Art Deco style mausoleum was added in 1921, and a veterans section in 1939. The tour will be told through the histories of several notable or infamous persons, including victims of disasters and military engagements. Recently discovered grave stones have been uncovered in the Scottish Cemetery area.
