Descendancy Research: Branching Out on Your Family Tree

Most genealogists focus attention on climbing their family tree; this workshop focuses on moving laterally out onto the branches. The whys and hows of conducting descendancy research is presented with practical examples in finding information and artifacts that provide further clues and documentary enrichment to ancestral lines. Demonstrations of websites such as FamilySearch, Ancestry, Findmypast, and My Heritage, will provide a dynamic and simple way of collaborating on research, and just as importantly, in sharing photos, stories and artifacts not known to other branches of your family.
