1. When did you first start working on your family history?

It started when I was volunteering at the Cornwall Public Library, filing name cards for the local history index as a curious 13 year old, and it just grew from there.

2. What was your most surprising discovery?

My most surprising discovery was that my paternal 3x great grandparents were never married.

3. What is the brick wall you’d like to break down most in your family history?

I’d like to find out more about the 3x great grandmother and break through my brick wall as to her birthplace and name of her parents.

4. What is your favourite part of researching your family history?

My favourite part of researching my family history is learning more about the lives my ancestors must have lived.
